Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best way for me to schedule a consultation?

The best way to schedule an appointment is to contact me via text or email to set up a 10-15 minute introductory phone call.

What happens after the introductory phone call?

We will set up a face to face consultation appointment.

How long are the initial consultation appointments?

The initial consultation appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes.

What do I need to do before meeting for the consultation session?

Sign up for the portal and fill out the intake paperwork, including any insurance and payment information. Insurance must be checked before the first appointment.

Why should I do a virtual session instead of meeting in person?

Because it allows you to do the session from the comfort and safety of your own environment, cuts out the commute time,  and it provides greater access for treatment because I am licensed to provide therapy in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Why do you require 48-hours notice for cancellations?

Because that will provide enough time to give another person the slot should they be seeking out an appointment for the week.

Why do you not provide bi monthly sessions?

Because consistency is the greatest predictor of successful treatment and weekly sessions is the best cadence for consistency.
